not sur if its not bin could u show peace of ur script don't think i completely understand or could u plz post some background info for what it is for ?

As "connect" is a tcl command provided by eggdrop, you are not able to use "fconfigure" with it. If you need the use of fconfigure, you might want to look into the "socket" command.
