I need to add a timer to execute a command every 5 minutes. Looking at the manual and a tutorial I found, I think the code would appear as such:

timer 5 Check_For_OnJoin_PMS
proc Check_For_OnJoin_PMS {} {
    puthelp "PRIVMSG secureserv :checkchan #(channel name here)"
}

My questions are this. Lol, is this the right syntex???? And will it execute every 5 minutes???
