Can't change the path in the file ld.so.conf

Hello,

Try to install eggdrop on my providers virtual unix server, but I can't change the path in the file ld.so.conf, because I have no rights to change this file.

Is ther another way to install eggdrop without these changes?

I'm very thankfull if I got a solution for this problem....

type in ur shell
chmod 700 ld.so.conf
then try to edit ur conf
