What can one do to be as safe as possible from the network finding out that you're running an eggdrop? I already done what's written on the .conf file. is there anything else I can do?
Grab a bitchx emulation script from the tcl archive - there are many that fake the version replies to make it seem the bot is a mirc/bitchx/xchat/etc client.
# There are also several variables to help make your bot less noticeable.
# They are: ctcp-version, ctcp-finger, and ctcp-userinfo. You can use set to set
# them to values you'd like.
So say, I want the replies to be: mIRC 6.1
what do I type there?
