DCC, Firewall, NAT, CTCP problems when accessing party line

My eggdrop is running behind a firewall on a 192.168.10.x host.
This firewall NAT all addresses in the LAN (netfilter) and use PPPOE with a non-static IP for going on Internet.

All run fine when i /msg my bot and it manages users on channel very perfectly.

But I have a problem when accessing the party line with a /dcc chat my-bot or a /ctcp my-bot chat. I've searched in this forum and on the net for advises but none work!!

All tests have been done in the same LAN than the eggdrop and the channel is located on Quakenet.

Error messages are [with Xchat as IRC client]:

with a /dcc chat my-bot =>

Offering DCC CHAT to my-bot
DCC CHAT connection established to my-bot [192.168.10.x:1868]
DCC CHAT to my-bot lost. Connection reset by peer.

with a /ctcp my-bot chat =>

Received a DCC CHAT offer from my-bot
DCC CHAT connect attempt to my-bot failed (err=Connection timed out).

One thing might be that you don't have the port forewarded or something, have you done that yet? It also may be that way if the port you've specified is already in use, Im thinking.

to enable dcc you need to open ports or a port range. Do a search on nat+mirc+dcc and you will find some info on what dcc does and how it works. Though the configuration towards eggdrop I cannot tell. But hope this helps a little. also look at http://forum.egghelp.org/viewtopic.php? ... hlight=nat
