Hi,
i have gunzip and tar -xvf eggdrop1.6.6.tar
in rep : /home/
and when i go to /home/eggdrop1.6.6
i do .configure and a error :

[root@localhost eggdrop1.6.6]# ./configure
loading cache ./config.cache

This is eggdrop's GNU configure script.
It's going to run a bunch of strange tests to hopefully
make your compile work without much twiddling.

checking for gcc... gcc
checking whether the C compiler (gcc ) works... cat: -: No such file or directory
no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables.

pliz help me and answer in french pliz im very bad

Check that you haven't exceeded your shell quota, and that you have write permissions in all the eggdrop1.6.6 directory, and all its sub directories.
