character problem

i run a trivia script on a bot. questions and answers contains turkish characters. but the bot can't recognise turkish characters. i have run this bot on kirenet before and bot worked correctly, there wasn't a character problem. now i run it on my linux machine. what should i do?

What version of Tcl does your linux machine have, and what version does kirenet run?

my machine has tcl8.0.4

i dont what kirenet has but probably most recent version

Try updating the version of Tcl you are using, this should solve the problems.
