channel key

hi one simple question:

I need a way to make an egg join a chan which is keyd.
".chanset #chan chanmode +k key"
But the problem is - this makes the bot force the key all time.
Is there a way to let egg join +k chan - but without forcing a key

(or is a script needed - which one for example?)

try .chanset #channel need-key putserv "JOIN #channel key"
