Connecting from behind a firewall, help

Hi
Can anyone offer me advise please, this is the problem;

Eggdrop starts up ok with no errors, but will not connect to any network.

I run a home network into a 4 port router, all pc's and the linux box have the ip 192.168.0.x
The gateway is 192.168.0.1
My fixed ip from my isp is, 213.152.xxx.xx

I'm running eggdrop 1.6.13 with a stormbot tcl on Mandrake 8.1

The linux box has DHCP set and picks up its ip ok, as all others like www,telnet,ftp, work ok.

I have tried every way to get the eggdrop to connect, but without any luck.

Has anyone had this problem ?, or do you know how to fix ?

If anyone can help, it would make my day

With NAT becoming more common, both with the use of home networks, office networks and ISP using it to help conserve IP ranges.

In the config file, set my-ip your lan IP (the 192.168 IP), and nat-ip to your public ISP provided IP.

Many thanks for your help ppslim, i did try your method, but like every other way i tried, it failed.
A friend that runs a network of eggdrop bots, had a look at the eggdrop.conf, and he said its just the same as he uses, and there is no reason for it not to run.

I will go back to eggdrop 1.6.6 that worked fine for me.
