Confused bot... its on the channels but it dosnt think it is

I've been running my bot for ages and havent had any problems, untill last night. I think it was caused by the latest script I installed (a stats script) so I removed that script and restored the user file from a backup taken before the script was installed but I still get the same problems. I have rebooted the box and I have tried re-compiling the bot but still no joy. and the config file hasnt been altered atall (except for adding/removing scripts).

I have completly run out of ideas on what could be causing this

it is actualy on the channels but if I tell it to do anything from the console it tells me its not on the channel

What version eggdrop is it, what platform, and what server network are you on?

I've found the prob now... the network had just been upgraded and was no longer dalnet compatible (which I had set it to) I have now changed it to type 5 and its working (webnet btw)
