Global/Channel banlist & DALnet: it just won't work ?

I've been reading the topic "Channel bans not working in 1.6.7 on DALnet" with some interest. Is this still a common problem?

I cannot get my bot(s) to set _one_ proper ban from either the global or the channel banlist. It just kicks and kicks and kicks..

Yes, max-bans is set to 100, banlist is not full, they are not "odd" banmasks, channel is often 300+.

You should try upgrading eggdrop to the latest version, and make sure you have the correct value for net-type in your config file.
