.tcl command on 1.4.4

it doesn't seem to work for me..

like, i'm running a module called "stats.mod". i need to run a tcl command to add stats to a user.

soo... i go and find the tcl command is incrstats <user> <chan> <type> <value>. So, i type .tcl incrstats John #channel words 3977.

but i repeatedly get the error message (good ol' What? You need '.help'). is this an error with .tcl, or an error on my part?

its unbound in your conf. rebind it

made no difference.

and yes, i restarted it after i bound it.
