And surprise surprise, the solution is even in the COMPILE-GUIDE in ~doc!<br><br>The doc folder contains *all* the information pertaining to compiling and starting an eggdrop hopefully error free and no one bothers to even read just one document.<blockquote class="uncited"><div>read·ing [réeding]<br>(plural read·ings) <br>noun <br>1.  identifying of written or printed words: the identifying of combinations of written or printed letters or characters as words in a language and understanding their meaning  <br>2.  material that is read: printed or written material that can be read  </div></blockquote>Hey! Error after make:<br><blockquote class="uncited"><div>Test run of ./eggdrop -v:<br>./eggdrop: error while loading shared libraries: libtcl8.4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory<br>make: *** [modules] Error 127</div></blockquote>this file is there! and is chmod'd to 755 and is clearly visible.
