Do you have the correct setting for net-type in your config ?
It was correct (ircnet) but I set it to "others" instead and restarted... and it started working, weird. Thanks. 8)

/msg botnick op pass (channel) does nothing, but /msg botnick help works. When I type .op on DCC chat, it says "Gave op to mynickname on #channel", but nothing happens. When I ask someone else to op me and do .deop and then .op, it works.

What could be the problem?
