Your Internet Explorer problems are something else; nothing to do with eggdrop. It's possible the version of windows you have installed is having problems which is causing all these effects. I suggest you scan for trojans, malware, spyware & adware. You could also compare your setting in the older bot conf to those in the newer version and see if you may have missed a setting.

iti is somthing like u say but iti iti like this:
Alchera .quit
Enfield *** Ja mata!
Enfield [19:28] DCC connection closed (Alchera!alchera@203.208.119.163)
Enfield *** Alchera left the party line.

whitout "* DCC CHAT to Enfield lost (Remote host closed socket)."

this is happened when i run eggdrop 1.6.17 or 1.6.18. when i run 1.6.4 he work good and the dcc chat will close

Depending on your IRC client, you should get something like the following:

Alchera .quit
Enfield *** Ja mata!
Enfield [19:28] DCC connection closed (Alchera!alchera@203.208.119.163)
Enfield *** Alchera left the party line.
* DCC CHAT to Enfield lost (Remote host closed socket).

I use XChat which does not close the tab automatically (as mIRC can).

i have a problme whit eggdrop. i don`t know whi when i write ".quit" to quit from dcc whit eggdrop the DCC is not closing this is all he say "*** MyNe left the party line." whit out say "DCC session closed" i have windows 98 and ai run windrop 1.6.17 or 1.6.18. When i run windrop 1.6.4 i don`t have this problem. and i think because de did not close the DCC i have problmes whit internet explorer becase after a while i try to open some pages and don`t work! and i try to conect by DCC to eggdrop and say something about socks(unable to crate socks something like this)
