i guess what i was thinkin i could do is have the bot do the chanserv work... add a user and when they came in channel .. i can set them to voice up +v ... maybe i thinkin in the wrong way here ???

What is a Tag? I think you mean 'handle' and what is it you are trying to do exactly?

i have to add the user to the bot 1st b4 i can change the tags of the user in the room.. so when they join the rom they get a voice up... is this what iam undersanding???

and what is hostmask ... ????

ok i got the added part down.. so i did a
chattr [user] [tag] [#channel] seems to set it as it says user is now whatever tag i set ... next issue is i go out of the channel and back in and it doesnt give it the tag for that user.... ????

if you get this error the user you entered simply doesnt exist. Best is to check the .user file for any accidently added special characters.

hello. when i do a .chattr [user] [tag] [channel] .. it comes back with user not found. when infect the user is in the channel as it is a 2nd name of my for testing all the commands and such.... any ideas ??? .. egg 1.6.17
