Reading old posts I found this one (about meteo.tcl malfunction):

you may want to look at using weather3.5.2, it pulls australian weather just fine

Temp: 56F/13C Humidity: 57%
Conditions: Haze Wind: NW at 1mph/ 2kmh

.wz sydney au

Conditions: Clear Wind: WSW at 4mph/ 6kmh

That script' weather info (displayed on chan) is only in English, while meteo.tcl is multilanguage. You should think about it.
Nowdays meteo.tcl works really fine And best of all, you can choose your own lang!

for me it works with every city except Paris, Berlin and London...
It says:

"Weather ITLE>307 Temporary Redirect: , Wind :
Humidity: Barometer: . "

so I guess it need a new update! (the last one was in January I guess).
Still the rest works just fine...

Great script!

Changed line 1906 from

set weatherlnk "http://de.w3.weather.com$weatherlnk"

to

set weatherlnk "http://de.weather.com$weatherlnk"

and it works

I've been messing around with the script and I modified it for colors and better help and so on... and diferent binds...
Works fine now...

for international weather, you MUST include the country for it to work

".wz paris fr" or ".wz paris france" will give you a result

without the giving the country for international weather (weather outside the USA), the script considers the request to be incomplete

this is needed due to the format of wunderground.com

.ws sydney nothing shows up

london only for

.ws london uk

but paris won't work... :\

and should not the script work something like .ws lisbon or .ws amsterdam (for these it works fine)

weather3.5.2 shows correct output for all international cities listed on wunderground.com that I've tried (including Sydney, as shown in my previous post)

can't help it if the city is not listed on the website though

There are working USA weather scripts.
As for international scripts, all give some kind of error... with wunderground paris, london and sydney for example do not work, while other cities do.
Even with latest weather.tcl or meteo.tcl or meteo.tcl modified.

If anyone has a version that works for all feel free to show it.

You'd be better off using a weather script that works.
Script authors do NOT have an obligation to release script updates.
Use a different script (there are several weather scripts out these days).
