I think that there is a .tcl script that will set and/or keep the topic in a channel. That .tcl can be found here on slennox's site. Also it is not a very good idea to 'auto-op' a nick. If someone else were to change to that nick and come into the channel it will auto-op them. Auto-op is a very high security risk.

I've got the following problem, can somebody tell me , how i can auto set my topic for a channel with the eggbot??
And the next question, does somebody now how to set some nick to channelop automaticly??
