The above sticky has just been updated. For moderators, the key to determining whether a post belongs here is how much involvement the poster has in scripting. Take a request for a modification. If it basically just describes a feature to be added or changed, or is a 100 line quote of a script with "what's wrong with it?" underneath, it may be moved or junked. However, if the user displays more involvement in making the changes, such as quoting and referring to specific parts of the code, it may belong in this forum.
Statistics: Posted by slennox — Wed Aug 16, 2006 4:39 pm

The Scripting Help forum is for assistance with Tcl scripting. If you are trying to create your own script but having difficulty, have been attempting to modify a script yourself and need some help, or just want to discuss Eggdrop scripting in general, this is the right place.

If you are seeking to have someone else modify a script for you, or write you a complete script from scratch, you should use the Script Requests forum. Note that scripters are typically not slaves who will write complete scripts on demand for nothing in return, so you should not have any expectations of the response you may (or may not) receive.

If you're having problems with a released script, use the Script Support & Releases forum, and remember to include the name of the script in the post subject.
Statistics: Posted by slennox — Sun Feb 27, 2005 12:20 am
