Sometimes requesting it immediately after bot connects to the server the bot might not respond, if you're having the bot on a large number of channels, or channels which have large user counts.

wondered if anyone else has encountered a problem with bots requesting op when they have been restarted, this happens on every channel the bot rejoins, yet if i kick them out they return requesting op no problem, the config file has been scrutinised for errors, the bot flags are set to N, and i still can't find the problem. another problem i have is that sometimes when setting a ban or kick i see the message "im not on that channel" this one is particularly confusing seeing as the bot has op at the time lol, any help appreciated

What net-type is your bot set too? and what network is your bot on?

If you left net-type set to 1 then its still set to IRCNet if you are not on IRCNet and on a smaller network you will need to set net-type 5 and all additional settings.

Hope this helps
Statistics: Posted by ^DooM^ — Fri Feb 25, 2005 3:39 pm
