all network setting are the same as those used with eggdrop1.0o+pl8b!

Have you checked via file compare if the settings has been changed since then? some statements in the .conf file change from time to time.

I would like to say that there are 4 bots and 5 perm owners. we have all read the help files on www.eggheads.org.

Just before Xmas we upgraded from eggdrop1.0o+pl8b to 1.6.15, we never had this problem with that version of eggdrop!

Out of the 4 bots, we are only able to get sharing to work in this order and only with these two bots; biu==>activedir!

all network setting are the same as those used with eggdrop1.0o+pl8b!

Read, read and read some more. Well that was not the answer!

I switched the direction of the transfer and guess what, it works just fine!

It looks like BIU can send, but not receive!

Please keep in mind that I can .link and/or .unlink all day long, no problems at all!

Just as soon as I add the botflags for sharing, .link fails!

I'm not sure what is going on, I have activated console +h. this is what I get

mot likely your problem, and therefore your answer resides in your configurations... several variables deal with 'timeout', although I believe your answer will reside in reconfiguring a couple of modules, namely the transfer and share modules...
loadmodule transfer
set max-dloads 5
set dcc-block 1024
set copy-to-tmp 0
set xfer-timeout 30 <----- what do you have set here?

What could be wrong?

I have two eggdrop bots, both are verison 1.6.15.
I have created user acccounts for each bot in the other bot's userlist.
