Thanks!

After 3 days of running, I have the record to be this big.

I'm currently tracking 41901 nicks using 3640930 bytes.

However, someone just crashed the bot when he typed !seen * .. well not crashed actually, but it was lagging like hell. Is there a way to fix this, at least to prevent from * search. Thank you.

Louie
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Fri Jan 25, 2002 8:42 pm

Hi,

I need a suggestion for a !seen script that will work on my channel. The channel is quite big, ranging from 500-1000 users normally. I tried using the mysqlseen, but the bot just went dead after a while. It is very laggy, and hardly response at all.

I tried using the bseen script as well, setting the maximum record to be 10.000, but it will only keep up to 6 hours. With that setting, the bot is already quite less responsive on peak hours. Does anyone have suggestion of any seen script that might work well??

Thanks,
Louie
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Thu Jan 24, 2002 12:07 am
