I've a different answer (for a different way to work):
having only one full logfile is dangerous, and pisg can manage a set of logfile if you give him the mask used by your files (as eggdrop.chan.yyyy-mm-dd.log)
So why don't use a log a day, and make pisg parsing all the logs files?

i think you should read the files in your eggdrop/doc directory (especially the "tricks").

I am runing pisg in an eggdrop, the fact is : its using the log of the day, can i set to dont save previous logs in log.yesterday so its only 1 log? and entire log of more than 1 day?
Understand me?
