then set your console +rv and monitor raw traffic between the server and your bot; you'll see exactly what is being received and send out

if your bot indeed doesn't issue bans to server, there's something wrong with it

then it's probably a desync problem (the offender's server, yours too, doesn't see the bans that bot is putting on channel)

wait for server resync (network split/merge)

I'm using eggdrop 1.6.17 on a FreeBSD 4.10-STABLE box. I use all the bultin protections. Once I tried to shitlist a guy, the bot didn't ban him, just kick him with the reason "requested".

Now this happened...

He got temporarilly shitlisted for join flood, but the bot doesn't ban him. When I use +ban - it doesn't ban either.

What is going on ?

By the way, you who think this is an max-bans issue...
