as far that I can see from j-alice's sf page, it's in C++; so converting it to tcl might not be a trivial task, but is probably possible<br><br>to my knowledge, there is no decent AI script/module for eggdrop (maybe I should write one <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":P" title="Razz">) except MegaHAL module by BarkerJr (and even its AI capabilities are rather rudimentary)<br><br>I once converted an AI proggie called "splotch" to eggdrop module for my personal amusement, but it too was too simplistic to be called AI<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://forum.eggheads.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=5056">demond</a> — Sun Nov 28, 2004 9:49 am</p><hr />

Hi YooHoo,<br><br>In fact J-Alice can be found on <a href="http://j-alice.sourceforge.net/" class="postlink">http://j-alice.sourceforge.net/</a><br>I knew how to join a channel passw protected and to identify to nickserv. but thnx anyway  <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing"> <br><br>Is alice.tcl very elaborated chat bot? (since J-alice was acting as real human...). But i don't know if J-alice is restricted to run as standalone bot? Hi,<br><br>I made a search on the forum for this, but in vain  <img class="smilies" src="https://forum.eggheads.org/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":-?" title="Confused"> <br>I have eggdrop 1.6.17 and downloaded J-Alice (AI bot).<br><br>I'm encountering some difficulties to understand how this is working (maybe some of you already tried this...)<br>I can make this J-alice work and enter a channel.
