well in such case I'd recommend what I always recommend as a last resort

set your console +rv and monitor traffic between the bot and the server for hints

yes i know some channels that run a eggdrop there,
and it worked before it even worked last week after i recompiled the bot.
but today i had to restart it to change something and then it all started again.

this means your bot hasn't joined the channel yet, from its point of view (hasn't seen the End-Of-/WHO-List numeric from the server - eggdrop issues WHO #channel command on join)

maybe there is something wrong with Rizon's ircd (server software) - are you sure other people run eggdrops there?

i recompiled the bot and then it worked out,
but after i needed to restart the bot because i needed to change something that wouldn't work with .rehash or .restart the same problem came back.
even tried +inactive and the bot parted then did -inactive and the bot returned but both result the bot doesn't see the users in the channel.

but if i type: .status i get the follwing weird msg:

You might want to check .chaninfo #channel. The one time I've encountered this same problem was when a member set the bot .chanset +inactive

okay i asked about the +a and they don't seem to use something like that.
+M means only registred users can talk in the channel

reconnect (jump) the bot; if this doesn't help, restart it; if this doesn't help, check the channel modes - they might include some exotic mode (for example, +a anonymous ops) which is not supported by eggdrop (I have no idea what +M is on Rizon)

tried that also i'm on the same server the bot is,
everybody also sees the bot running n the channel and the bot also sees when another op bans some-one.
but if i try to force kick someone (.kick nick)
it says:

get on the same server your bot is on and see whether you see the same channel picture (users/ops/bans) your bot does; if so, keep jumping the bot or/and wait until servers resync; if not, there's another problem (not desync)

i got a eggdrop running on Rizon for a while now,
but now it happenend after i needed to restart the bot that the bot joins the channel but it doesn't see the users in the channel anymore.
it sees other bans when someone get's banned but if you do .channel it just shows the topic>

any one know what the problem could be ?
tried restarting the bot and jumping to another server but nothing helped so far.
