demond's point is perfectly valid imo.
Providing detailed information about the problem/situation is the least thing people can do when they ask for someone to write a script.

you seriously expected someone to do the research required and learn your CS server intrinsics, then learn the necessary third-party tools, then code your request just to please you, without you breaking a sweat? it doesn't work that way

you provide as much information as you can, structured, detailed, formal (instead of "I *think* it sends a udp packet", do the research yourself and specify what packet, when, where, what does it expect in return, the whole relevant interface with your CS server) and then hope for the best (i.e. some kind soul to sacrifice their free time, learn tcludp and script your request)

or maybe you'd hoped for someone who has already done the very same thing you need to be done? good luck

then have someone script that for you, or go ahead as spock suggested, grab the tcludp extension and help yourself

i have something that can perform cmds .. on a server but i can't manage to get a continious stream just activates call backs not realy event based :/

What i'm really after is something to connect periodacally and message the channel if, at that time, anyone has the name admin_needed

this can't be done in TCL...

head over to sourceforge and grab the tcludp extension

...without using third-party binary lib/package
