@Alchera: maybe your solution is working as well. i wrote just what made it work for me (win xp home) - i did not say that your solution is incorrect

I run a windrop under XP Pro and I did what I posted above to have it work. When installed, the temp folder is not created although the path could be set to the Windows Temp folder.

mh... if i remember right, i had to change "tmp/" to "/tmp". you might want to try that.

set temp-path "tmp/"

You have to create the tmp folder yourself in your windrop folder.

Okay, quickly... I'm using Eggdrop for Windows! Please don't flame for not being too smart with Linux, but I'm trying out Linux to learn it on another box, however, right now, I'm using Windows.... Here is my problem....

STARTING BOT IN USERFILE CREATION MODE.
Telnet to the bot and enter 'NEW' as your nickname.
OR Go to IRC and: /msg Osprey hello
This will make the bot recognize you as the master.

After that it goes back to the prompt... Anyone know where I can change this TEMP Directory it's trying to write in?
