I have a question.. when i want to copmile my eggdrop writing ./configure it sends me back that text:

This is Eggdrop's GNU configure script.
It's going to run a bunch of tests to hopefully make your compile
work without much twiddling.

checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.


i've read config.log but there is something about error 77 .. what kind of error is it?
