From eggdrop.conf

# Some IRC servers are using some non-standard op-like channel prefixes/modes.
# Define them here so the bot can recognize them. Just "@" should be fine for
# most networks. Un-comment the second line for some UnrealIRCds.

set opchars "@"
#set opchars "@&~"

UltimateIRCd (as an example) sets the following depending on access: (aohv)!@%+ the channel founder/sop being given !. q is a channel mode in Unreal (from memory) and Ultimate.

BTW: Are you attempting to DCC Chat to ~botnick? If so, don't! Just use the bots' proper nick. ~ indicates its' status.
Statistics: Posted by Alchera — Thu Aug 26, 2004 8:14 pm

If this is a bug: I think you should go to the windrop website find out their contact email addres and bug reporting email address and report this to them.

If this is regarding an eggdrop: Then you can goto www.eggheads.org and goto their bugzilla page and report them the bug you have found.
Statistics: Posted by awyeah — Mon Aug 23, 2004 1:10 am
