A few months ago I ran eggdrop on my own home server here. It was just on a hub and a cable connection. Worked fine, but didn't have much use for it. Finally I need use for it so try to set it up again. Everything goes fine except that when I try the normal /msg hello to make it recognize me, it dosen't reply back. It is in the channel and it made the appropriate files to recognize me as the owner. But it won't /msg me back with anything like entering the password.

Also it notified me that I have two notes later on that day, but when I tried to read them, I couldn't get the bot to reply to my /msg's.

The only thing that really changed during that duration of time that I can think of is that router. It changed the IP to all the computers so we have only internal IP addresses and one outgoing IP address.

This is a true eggdrop and not windrop. And suggestions or tips? Please help.

Thanks

Dan Phillips
phaux

[ This Message was edited by: phaux on 2002-01-10 01:40 ]
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Thu Jan 10, 2002 4:38 am
