Eggdrop installed and running, but all i get regardless of the irc server i type in is :

[13:33] Trying server ircnet.demon.co.uk:6667
[13:33] Failed connect to ircnet.demon.co.uk (Address invalid on remote machine)

blowfish and dns modules are loaded ok.

i can ping the above irc server on the same box so i know dns is ok.

Anyone know why i would get this error, the eggdrop simply can't connect to the same server i use myself...
