Is correct caesar, but I have a "thing" about standardising. I like to keep Windrop settings the same as the Unix ones to remove any confusion factor (as I also use Unix shells).

As an "adendum" SaJkO, you can very easily compile your own Windrops in Windows. You need to install the latest version of Cygwin and then can use it to install the latest libraries needed; minires-0.97 being needed for the DNS module.

All you do then is download the eggdrop tarball and from the Cygwin command window follow the instructions in COMPILING-FAQ (D. Cygwin / Windows) which is in the doc folder.
Statistics: Posted by Alchera — Mon Jul 19, 2004 2:28 pm

There's no dramas running a Windrop on Windows 2003 Server as long as one downloads the correct file (which includes Cygwin). I use Windows 2003 .NET Server and run Windrops for various testing purposes.

A temp dir has to be created after the Windrop is extracted. This folder has to be named "tmp" and created within the "eggdrop" folder. Then check in the bots configuration file and make sure that this setting is set correctly: set temp-path "tmp/"
Statistics: Posted by Alchera — Mon Jul 19, 2004 1:49 pm

From the FAQ at Windrop Central

Q: Does Windrop support Windows 2003 Server ?
No since Cygwin still has some issues when used under Windows 2003 Server.
