If the ghosted nick is on the network just send services either the "ghost" or "recover" commands to get rid of it.

If you killed process and you don't see it in 'ps ux' then your eggdrop is dead. Bot may stall on irc for few seconds, sometimes few minutes (lags), but it's dead.

I have the BIG PROBLEM!!!
I kill my eggdrop:

kill -9 pid

but the bot continue running

and in the: 'ps x' the eggdrop process don´t show!
