What's up with ignoring people in the help channel on QuakeNet? :S

1. Is the channel +m and is the bot not opped/voiced?
2. Is the bot banned and is the bot not opped/voiced?
3. Are you always usermode +d? Unset this (this might explain why you ignored all the nice people that tried to help you).
Statistics: Posted by dollar — Wed Jun 30, 2004 1:09 pm

A few days ago the shell server my bot runs on was restarted and ever since I have had this problem. I decided to do a major update on the bot for a start ot try and solve the problem by installing the latest version of eggdrop etc.

The problem I have is the bot will not send any messages in any channels, all scripts seem to work fine as I can see things being triggered in the console. Although the output isnt put back into the channel. The bot can also PM and notice people fine. I tried removing all the scripts incase it was a script that was stopping it but that made no difference.

The last thing I tried was ".msg #channel message" in the console and in the past I thought that worked find but now it still does not work. Has anyone got any ideas what might be up with it, its running on the quakenet network.
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Wed Jun 30, 2004 1:01 pm
