-n shows you bot imputs when it is connecting to server etc....This problem is about IRC server, not your shell.Add some other servers to Eggdrop, and then start it normal (./Eggdrop -m eggdrop.conf) and then telnet to the bot and you'll see if you still get same errors from other servers...
