let me put down some details of my Ip and bot may be some one could help me wit it

I have 2 Bots:

Hogward & Seplina

Hogward Ip (~Hogward@ae24695.emirates.net.ae)
Seplina Ip (~Seplina@ae24695.emirates.net.ae)

and My nick on Irc Ip it shows (~StawBerry@217.164.79.123) which is static.

as i try to access my bot from some where else via DCC or ctcp i am not able to log in aswell as its getting Rejected or timed out.
The bot needs the other *!user@host.domain in it's user file so you're recognised from the other location. :)

now, if that is not a static IP, you will not be able to add that ip

Your DCC problem, you will have to lookup many different things. It is prolly set on a LAN ip, the firewall may be blocking the port outside, etc.

but
as i try to access my bot from some where else via DCC or ctcp i am not able to log in aswell as its getting Rejected or timed out.
any idea whats tha problem is?
its that ..i feel i can do only limited things with my bot when i am elsewhere , coz of this Dcc problem...
i have tryd /msg bot Ident pass.. but no Use.
Please Help.
