I have tried to find available information on this issue, but I cannot get any further. When configuring mysqltc, I get the error, that libmysqlclient is not in the directory specified. When searching the box, it is not there at all. I need to say, that I don´t have too much knowledge about linux yet and it is a preinstalled server, that I use.
I have figured out so far, creating this library is an option when configuring mysql. It might be possible, that this option was diabled, when this server was set up.
Now i would need to know, what would be the easiest way, to get the mysqltcl to start on this machine? In the readme files it says, that there are ways to make static links however it is not clear to me, if that can help to solve my problem and what would be the right way then. Or am i lost and need to change my mysql settingsß I gues that would be a little too complex for me at this time.
Maybe someone can help me out?

Kato
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Mon May 24, 2004 2:48 am
