modify a tcl if possible

hi wondered if anyone could alter a tcl for me i have no idea how or what to do i wont beat about the bush with you but would make my life easier
i have qstat4eggdrop.tcl version 1.0 which werks fine as is but one thing i would like is the public triggers removing and a auto one addindg just for one field
at moment i have ot type !qf playername to find the player im after i would like it to auto look for one name thats all if anyone has any ideas or would be willing to look at it please let me know
ive tried mailing the author with no joy as of yet to a response
