how can i install eggdrop to my mandrake linux 9.2, i tryed to write configure in the konsole and it returned this:

[salokas@Palvelin eggdrop1.6.15]$ configure

This is Eggdrop's GNU configure script.
It's going to run a bunch of strange tests to hopefully
make your compile work without much twiddling.

checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cl... no
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH


i have tryed to seek through the instructions given with eggdrop and this forum without any answer. it is just probably too stupid a question :-?
Like mopar told already, you need to have c-compiler..You find it on one of your linux installation cd's...It is in folder where are rpm's it's named something like c-g...rpm.
