1.6.16 configure problem on shell

Something went wrong while packaging .16 (on the developers side), and the configure program lost it's +x. So "chmod +x configure" (in the eggdrop dir) would fix it.

bash: ./configure: bad interpreter: Permission denied

I get this message on the user and the admin account but with version 1.6.15 i have nor problems

Have any one a idea that solves my problem?
