Posible causes: Console based win32 application (windrop) causing slow multitasking. Maybe the computer was suposed to respond to a cable, signal, and was too late.

Solutions: Use an eggdrop. Windrops are lame, and unsuported.
Statistics: Posted by ppslim — Wed Dec 26, 2001 1:24 pm

recently i setup a windrop for someone on his home machine so that he could run a raiden sitebot (which i also setup) but there was a problem that shortly after starting up the windorop (version 1.6.6) it would reset his cable, dropping both himself and the bot. it was a clean install of the bot...all i changed to start with was his resolv.conf and i created him an eggdrop.conf so it is clean in that way. any1 got any ideas as to why it was behaving like that and any ideas for a possible fix?
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Wed Dec 26, 2001 12:32 pm
