Bot is not recognizing all input from the channel

I have an eggdrop running chaos trivia in an irc chan. The problem i am having is that it is not recognizing all of the answers that people are typing in the channel. I am using two other bots that are configured the same way and am having no probs at all with them. I have checked the format of the database that the tcl script draws from and am seeing no discrepancies. I am curious if anyone has had a problem with an eggdrop not seeing all of the input that is sent to it. There seems to be no pattern to the input that it ignores.

Any hints would be greatly appreciated......
