If you link an bot to an existing botnet duh! don't give them access to yours, do just the link, that's all. Was your mistake to give others access to yours.. now you pay the price for that mistake.

Btw i forgot to add, that we fought so much so im banned from all chans now, even from mine.They dont wanna give it back with nice talk, so i will need to use force We fought most cuz they always complicadet about chans and i was talking cuz they had more then 200+ users in bot with flag a and n, so many many takeovers happened on all chans where bots were on...

My opinion:

Never link bots with others.I made this mistake.I linked my bots to some other, and we were always figthing on which chan they will be, one said they are on to many chans etc...Also other guy who was admin to had added about 200+ users to bot, with n flag, so may t/o happened.If you wanna link to other botnets, link to person you trust (but i still dont recommend) and dont link to some unknown people.Even if you link to person you know, you will aslo fight about users in bot chans etc...

Getiing dosed is normal now adays and i am sure it wasn't because they were on a botnet. Any shell account i have ever had has always had that problem, its something you just put up with cause its never gonna change. You just gota find someone shell thats got enough protection.

if you browse the forum you will find e.g. the post where some of the large shell provider wer DDoS'ed just to overtake IRC Channels.....you see, the IRC is infected by kiddies.

all this help you can get in an eggdrop irc chan, much more comfortable than over the partyline (i'd say), but i'm gona give it a shot when i completely secured my bots

Theres plenty of security, when you link over a botnet its motsly masters and owners of the bots,plus when you link you never share userfiles, its just a remote link. The benefit of it is this, alot of the bot owners on the net or either scripters,network admins, coders, or they do something that if ya ask nicely they may teach ya something you don't know, i been messing with eggdrops for almost since the time the first version came out and i have never been on a botnet where someone tried gaining access to my bot. The bot net that barker helpedmelink back up to or the one he was gonna link back up to is one i have been on several times before. My thoughts are this if ya don't link then your missing out on knowledge.

just out of intresst...what purpose do you have to connect to a large botnet without being admin there ? i dont trust other ppl's bot as op in my chan, so there is no protection in it......
