Ok nobody replied to this but I found a way to fix it I jsut added "newexempt *!*@host" to the ban script and that fixed it. If there is another way though I would like to know

I'm trying to add exempts to the bot... however whenever it restarts it drops the exempts and the stick exempts i put on it.

im using:
.+exempt *!*@host
then
.sticky exempt *!*@host
then
.save

also if I do .exempts it shows all the proper exempts yet it isnt using any of them.

another soemwhat related problem is... when I start the bot, if i do .+exempt it says that i cant use the command without use-exempts enabled. When I rehash the message goes anway ad i can use the command. But this process reapeats if I restart the bot.
