i know what u mean but try to find more specifc scripts things u want .. ask ur self what u need what u want what would be nice and try to accomplish that or find it maybe try and writing ur own ..

most of the "usefull" stuff you name is quite easy, like for example calculators

check http://www.tcl.tk/man/tcl8.4/TclCmd/expr.htm and you'll find a bunch of features that even the basic command expr can do, or look at some calculator tcl in the TCL archive, it shouldnt be that hard to addapt it to your needs.

btw: is ordering a Pizza over your bot usefull in your eyes ? i did this a while ago

Greetings all,
I'm brand new to the world of eggdrop bots and tcl scripts, although I've been on IRC longer then I care to remember.
During the past week, I've compiled an eggdrop and have hunted all over the Net for great scripts to add to it. Scripts that, to me at least, make the bot useful rather than being *just* a channel guard. To my surprise, I've found that very little in the way of 'interesting' scripts appear to be wriiten. I've come across a couple of weather tcls that sometimes work and other times don't, a few dictionary look-up scripts, one of which seems excellent, a couple of google scripts which are fair at best, and so on. Compared to the addon scripts for mIRC, there seems to be very little in the way of *useful* scripts other than channel things.
Unless, of course, I've been looking in entirely the wrong places

For such a great bot as eggdrop appears to be, I am truly surprised that there appears to be no such scripts as metar or taf or even a currency converter (apart from one that deals with euros only). If I'm wrong in what I've said, then PLEASE... correct me And if anyone can point me in the direction of good scripts that deal with the subjects I've named above then I'd be eternally grateful
