Hello. I used to use Eggdrop a few years ago before I had a massive hard drive failure.

Right now (since I was lazy) I'm using mIRC to log a channel I frequent.

My question is twofold:

1) What would be the best way to convert the mIRC log(s) to Eggdrop format?

2) What would be the best format to save my new Eggdrop bot logs in? Should I opt for a version that saves into small daily logfiles or a large, cumulative logfile (or a monthly format perhaps?)?

The reason I ask is because I use PISG to render the log file in to html for statistic purposes. I am seeking the best way to render the log to html (and easiest to trigger PISG/perl/cron with).

Ideally I'd have an easy way via cron -> perl script to make a daily, monthly and cumulative version of the statistic pages. Any and all help would be very appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Sat Dec 13, 2003 3:54 pm
