First of all, I did do a search of the forums, and could not find the answer to my particular problem.
I have installed and configured our eggy, the compilation went through without a hitch.
However, when I try to DCC chat or telnet to the bot or even ctcp chat, command, the Bot dies. It just says: Client closed connection.
I have tried many different things, but the result is the same.
I'm using eggdrop1.6.15 on a Redhat 7.3 shell.
One other thing I noticed, even though it is supposed to log ... the logs files are of length 0.
If i let the bot run by itself, without trying to DCC, it runs fine and it even ops itself like it is supposed.
Does anyone have any ideas why it would be doing this.
