if you want i can send you precompiled binaries for these distribution : debian, slacware or mandrake. I am using the new eggdrop 1.6.7<br>this is what I have done :<br><br>gzip -d egg...<br>tar -xvf egg...<br>rm egg....<br><br>cd eggdrop1.6.7<br><br>then I had to setenv paths, because defaults are wrong in my shell account... (they are using 8.3 there)<br><br>setenv TCLINC /opt/tcl/include<br>setenv TCLLIB /opt/tcl/lib<br><br>then I runned configure<br><br>./configure<br><br>all looked normal, no errors, no crashes.<br>then I used make config<br><br>make config<br><br>it all looked normal too...<br><br>then system said that I would only need to run make and make install after make to make bot ready... I runned make<br><br>make<br><br>it linked :<br><br>Linking eggdrop...<br><br>gcc -pipe -o ../eggdrop bg.o botcmd.o botmsg.o botnet.o chanprog.o cmds.o dcc.o<br> dccutil.o dns.o flags.o language.o main.o mem.o misc.o misc_file.o  modules.o n<br>et.o rfc1459.o tcl.o tcldcc.o tclhash.o tclmisc.o  tcluser.o userent.o userrec.o<br> users.o  -L/opt/tcl/lib -ltcl8.3 -lm -lpthread -ldl -lnsl -lsocket md5/md5c.o c<br>ompat/*.o `cat mod/mod.xlibs`<br>strip ../eggdrop<br>Successful compile: eggdrop<br><br>ld.so.1: ./eggdrop: fatal: libtcl8.3.so: open failed: No such file or directory<br>*** Error code 137<br>make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `modegg'  <br><br>WHAT NOW ?<br><br>I am sure that the file is in it's real directory, how else could have I passed the ./configure setup... what should I do now ???<br><br>PLEASE HELP SOMEONE ME !!!<br><br>Thanks<br><br><p>Statistics: Posted by Guest — Thu Dec 13, 2001 2:06 pm</p><hr />
