not only on the ChanServ banlist but on the channel as well; I believe these changes were made after DALnet was virtually destroyed by flood attacks & spammers (not that it was much of a help fighting spam, the network still has highest spam rates as far as I am concerned, and I run the same channel on all major networks sans QuakeNet)

DALnet allows a maximum of 100 bans being set in the ChanServ akick list, a total of 19 via +bquiet.

not an eggdrop problem

the bot (or the user being kicked) is on a desynched server that doesn't relay bans properly

yeah i got also the same problem on rizon
they allow 100 bans a channel
but after 20 bans set he just kicks so we get like a kick flood because the user keeps rejoining.
and i've set in the config file:
set max-bans 100

Have you been able to get it to work lately? I've got the same issues, except that my chan has only 54 bans.

I decided to let the bot unban bans that last for 40mins (using ban-time) so the banlist wont get full. works fine now

when you connect on an irc server you get to see a few server related things. Look for something like MAXBANS=60

mirc-x has the same problem
is says in the mod MAXBANS=100

so i changed the following
set net-type 5
set max-bans 100

but still it fails when going over a amount of bans

where do I check that ?

I've been told on undernet that the max-bans options only effects when the net-type is set to 5 (others), If I do that would it effect the bots behavior on DALnet ?

perhaps increase max-modes as well? +b is also a mode i believe
